Which Manners are those in the pic you posted EH3? And what weight did they end up at with the 1/2" pad?
They are eh2's I never weighted them. I had to open the barrel channels up quite a bit. The one is a bartlein 3b and the other a proof sendero lite

Sounds like a great rig. It would have to be a real steal. I'm looking for a long action and that's a heavier stock than I would want.
