I believe Ackley's book failed to print that the 3395 velocity and 60 grain charge was with a 120 grain bullet as specified in the article on the 257 condor.

Several problems with bullets that long.
Do you have room in your magazine?
If not it will take up room in the case that could be used for powder!
If you hang it out front you need a lot of free bore so its not jammed into the lands!

Yep, that can be an issue, depending on the setup. I loaded the 163 Chinchaga in my .257 WBY without any problems, as the .257 WBY has a long .378" freebore.

(L=145 Black Hole at 3090 FPS and R=163 Chinchaga at 2915 FPS out of 22" 1:7" barrel during powder pressure test).

Yep, depending on the source, it's ~2g less capacity than .257 WBY (84g H2O)
