160 gr bullet at 3395 is nothing to sneeze at.From P.O. Ackleys book
I believe Ackley's book failed to print that the 3395 velocity and 60 grain charge was with a 120 grain bullet as specified in the article on the 257 condor.160 gr bullet at 3395 is nothing to sneeze at.
Yep, that can be an issue, depending on the setup. I loaded the 163 Chinchaga in my .257 WBY without any problems, as the .257 WBY has a long .378" freebore.Several problems with bullets that long.
Do you have room in your magazine?
If not it will take up room in the case that could be used for powder!
If you hang it out front you need a lot of free bore so its not jammed into the lands!
Yep, depending on the source, it's ~2g less capacity than .257 WBY (84g H2O)
