Typical Range day setup. Pictures please!

My normal setup, I have two Bald Eagle front rests. One cast iron and one aluminum, one with a 2" bag, the other with a 3" bag.

The pictured rest is one I bought off of Accurate Reloading's classified site. Someone from IL was building them 10+ yrs back. I also have an AL Bal Eagle w/Windage adjustable top. I use a couple different Protektor leather rear bags.

Someone mentioned blue jeans for sand-bags. Lead shot bags also make great sandbags if you know anyone who reloads shot-shells.

Most of you already know this, but a proper rest is paramount in wringing out the accuracy of any rifle. I am by no means a long range shooter most of the time, but I do like to shoot under 500. To illustrate the importance of a good rest, I have attached two photos. I shot two different remington model 700's withe the same 160 grain accubond handload. The first group was off of a caldwell stinger rest and then another group off sandbags. I honestly shot the best groups I could using both types of rests. Hopefully this will open your eyes.....or maybe it's just me. One rifle had an older Redfield 2x7 and the other an older Redfield 3x9. Nuthin fancy!
