..150-160 grain Nosler Partition will knock the snot out of anything you have the ability to hit...

I agree! I've never had anything walk away from a 160 partition!

Why are you making the switch?

I had some factory GW 145LRX that shot a little better than the VLD, also would like to try something lead free. There are some crazy studies about how far lead particles actually travel.

160 Accubond. 168 Accubond LR or 175 Berger Elite Hunter. Whichever your rifle shoots best. Myself and family members have all taken multiple elk with these bullets. All perform excellent!
