I have an ultra 7 with direct thread mount. Has anyone done the conversion to CB, and added the CB Brake to additional rifles?
My question is, does the CB mitigate any more recoil than the standard direct thread model? My largest caliber is a 300 RUM and it still sucks shooting it with the DT ultra 7.
Thanks!

The brake does nothing to help with recoil once the can is mounted. It's viewed more as a mounting option to use the suppressor on different rifles. Again though, you can do the same with a direct thread - just screw it on any rifle with the correct thread pitch.

that rum would probably need an RR model to really get any more recoil reduction. if you need the fillings in your teeth removed or just hate everyone you shoot with a big brake like the 419 sidewinder Magnum would make a bigger difference

thanks popnfresh-
I just learned of the RR model and grabbed this off TB website: Going to check them out!

Could be exactly what I'm looking for. I'll see if I can find some testing videos on it!

In case you have not done it already, check availability and cost of CB mounts before you put yourself in a position of buying more of them. Might change your mind.
