Wrights brass polish is a water based brass polish. Many car waxes, especially cleaner waxes and polishes are petroleum based and can harm primer and powder.
I'm using acetone based products because of the drying effect. I don't want the rice to swell and loose its cleaning properties. The rice with acetone and "goof off" has not swelled and still going strong.Wrights brass polish is a water based brass polish. so once it does swell and quit cleaning, will it become fried rice?I'm using acetone based products because of the drying effect. I don't want the rice to swell and loose its cleaning properties. The rice with acetone and "goof off" has not swelled and still going strong.
P7M13 I think he uses the rice and drinks the acetone, what ya think?I would bet the rice does all the work, and the acetone evaporates fairly quickly, i.e. in less than two minutes.
I'm not a fan of using highly flammable solvents without proper ventilation.
Dunno. Nasty thought, tho'.P7M13 I think he uses the rice and drinks the acetone, what ya think?
There are different types of "Goof Off'. Which one?
