It's crazy to me how popular the 7mm SAUM is getting and the amount of support for brass and ammunition is so minimal. It's a great cartridge but it doesn't get the attention from manufacturers that it deserves.

Then in the middle of the craze, norma decides to stop importing brass. But it doesn't get the attention from mfgs because none if these new saum shooters are shooting saami short actions. Most are built on medium actions using long high bc bullets so there's no way for factory ammo to support.

There next drop is 6.5 saum, u less you have one buy some and neck up. Unknownmunitions.com seems to have a good relationship with adg

Yes I understand that. I'm just surprised how many shooters are going after it and the only brass now is ADG. I understand the SAAMI limitations. I wish Winchester was smart and made their 6.8 Western a 7mm to reinvent the wheel for a short 7mm designed for heavy for cal bullets.

I think we will see a 7x6.5prc saami variant sooner than later. Hornady isn't gonna sleep on that money tree.

I just got some 7mm-08 Lapua brass from them and asked about the ADG brass
They said my guess was good as theirs

Yep! Or why Winchester put a short neck on the 7wsm!!!
