I am going to SD to the dog towns this year in late May. The guide said there are 1.4 Million acres of confirmed dog towns in the reservation grass lands. No idea how many total acres, but 1.4 MM is a LOT. I am going to do my best to trim the population. Taking a 22 WMR, .223 and 22-250. About 2000 rounds of ammo for the two days shoot. Hope that is enough.

Edit: The more I read, I may also bring my Ruger RPR in 22 LR for the hot/heavy close work. We should be some of the first in for the season, so likely going to be some good close shooting.
