Here are the opinions of the Heller decisionI am amazed at the number of people who didn't realize that Biden has a very detail gun control section on his campaign website. It details exactly what he plans to do, AND he has said this publicly. The worst being he does not support the Heller decision that affirmed the Individual right to own a firearm. And Harris believes the same thing. We've never had a President (presumptive) and Vice President that have publicly held this belief.

The way I read it the issue in the case is not whether individuals have the right to bear arms but whether the state had any right to regulate the ownership, sale and distribution of arms. The conflict is whether you believe that the right to bear arms is an ABSOLUTE right which cannot be regulated in any way by the state. The Supreme Court already decided that it was not.
The Cornell University Law site located here https://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution-conan/amendment-2 shows the quotes below. It specifically mentions the Heller case by name.
" However, the Court specifically stated (albeit in dicta) that the Second Amendment did not limit prohibitions on the possession of firearms by felons and the mentally ill, penalties for carrying firearms in schools and government buildings, or laws regulating the sales of guns.18"
