TC Contender Gen 1 pistol

I recently purchased a TC Contender pistol with a super 14 barrel and it is scoped
I want to use it to hunt deer here in Michigan
So I bought a .41 magnum ten inch barrel
Most shots that would be taken are generally under a 100 yards, always had an interest in these pistols I am looking forward to giving it a try đź‘ŤView attachment 587845View attachment 587846View attachment 587847View attachment 587845
I started with a 7x30 in a super 14, wish I had that one back. Next was 30-06 encore and 338 win mag, now I have super 16's in 30-30 ai and 45-70. Practice is the key!! Good luck.

I got hooked on JDJ barrels some 30 years ago. I did start off on a 16 inch 30-30 that knocked down numerous Colorado Mule deer and Antelope using a 125 gn Nosler BT. After countless hours researching which barrel would fit my type of hunting, I chose the JDJ 309. After getting the right load for barrel, I was surprised by the accuracy and effectiveness. I have taken numerous antelope, mule deer, a caribou and elk with this caliber.
I could use some direction with load data. I also have a .309 JDJ barrel. 22" on Haus frame. Greatly appreciate any info.

I don't have any data for 309 JDJ but I do have some new Hornady 375 JDJ (Proper Headstamp) brass that is also good for forming the other JDJ cases based on 444. The 309.338. 358 just to name a few. Just FYI
Thanks
Doug

I'm using IMR 4350- can't remember charge weight- with 165gr Nozler BT, and Partitions. Here's Hornady data I have on my phone.

Someone told me awhile back to start with very low .308 data a slowly work up to a decent load. Does that sound familiar to anyone?
