SURGEON GUN ACTIONS

Hi Preston, see, customers are mounting up, and supply needs to meet demand. I will be seeing the Sinclair guys at the IWA next week and will bug the hell out of them to get me some actions organised, i'm not keen on paying a middle man, but if thats what has to be done, then so be it.
The import cert here is a matter of 4 bits of paper and 5 days wait and its through, Its already filled out waiting for supply agreement.
There is a market for your actions over this side of the pond, now hurry up mate, before i go and build my own actions !!
cheers Pete

Preston,

Pete is not kidding around when he says there is a market for your actions on this side of the pond..The semi custom rifle trade is booming over here, better get in on it before it's too late...

Pete, see you next week mate!!

Pete, when you say dancing girls are omitted, that's from your menu...like one of my past acquaintences Bogus Red would say, (in your deepest slow voice) a huh huh huh...

Prestonpritchett do you have a idea on what the 6.5 long range hunting rifle is going to cost just wondering thanks /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Ok JR, Alg, dancing girls are on, for all but me.
there are plenty of real cuties walking round the IWA and i'm sure that some are catered for in entertainment budgets from large companies.

Preston, i guess its to late for the Sinclair guys to fetch an action over for me to have a butchers at?
Pete

Pete, JR
Thanks for the push. I haven't got Sinclair to call back so I called the exporter in Chicago and got a recording and he is not open till Tuesday. I will call him back in the morning.

50BMG We have been getting $3250 for the complete rifles.
Thanks
Preston

Preston, I too am very interested in a Tactical action - but it needs sending to Pete before I get my rifle!

Could you advise if this action has sufficient feed port clearance to allow magazine feed for a 7mm WSM using 160 - 180 grain bullets seated to the base of the case neck. I am guessing at a max OAL of no more than 3 inches. (Base of case to tip of bullet)

(unless some one who has a 7mmWSM could advise on the OAL of the following bullets: I wish to use 160 Accubonds for Deer, 180grain Berger or 175grain SMK for target work, but cannot get info on the length of these bullets - hence the guess. Also could anyone advise on the OAL of a 200g ULD RBBT Wildcat please)

Cheers

Andy

I have a 7 WSM on a Surgeon action. I am loading 176 Cauterucio's to 2.95" and they feed in the Wyatt's box. I am getting over 2800 fps with 4831sc and H1000 from a 24" tube.

The port is large enough to eject an unfired cartridge.

learning, that´s good news. Opens up many possibilities.

Can you give us the port´s length??

Thanks.
