I picked up two stocks, flat top old model gunerks. I have been trying to find a way to attack the butt pad to these hollow butt stock or what they use for some time. It looks to me like the flush cups on the butt hold a part inside the stock the recoil pad is attached to. Any thoughts or suggestions about where to look or start? I've spoken to gunerks folks a number of times but cannot seem to explain it in a way that they'll give me a price. Needless to say ilno reason to inlet them if they'll be unusable. TIA

Might have to post some pictures but yes it looks like gunwerks uses a special but piece that houses some flush cups and also holds the butt pad, I'd bet a couple emails or phone call they'd sell you just that part, or you're gonna have to make something.

Ya looks like they were intended to take that pad piece from Gunwerks,
If you aren't wanting to purchase that looks like it'd be pretty easy to shape a piece of wood and use some epoxy to hold it in place. screw the pad to that.
