Realistic 10-shot groups

How is this for sample size? 140 rounds about 1 inch at 200 yards.

I put very little weight in a 10 shot groups unless your testing the agg of the entire set of equipment in wide ranges of conditions, so max size I'll shoot this thing, that has less and less to do with pure accuracy of individual parts. I can't drop a 10 shot groups with my bench gun fast enough to not see it open up due to environmental changes, a five shot group in the dead calm at the butt crack of the morning I might get a condition where I can drop a group that represents the true potential of the rifle and load, it's absolutely shocking what guns really can do at this point.
All I see with all these high number groups is it represents a 1/4 moa rifle and load in a 1 moa condition, if you don't seperate the two you don't see those small, small groups or see the nuances in the load, you loose the precision in the noise. I think many can't see it so they want to push this narrative so we all have 2 moa guns like theirs, they are in fact just 2 moa shooters!!

It really takes little effort to shoot a 10 shot group. I do it all the time.

It's not a scary thing with a well built rifle, a good barrel and decent fundamentals.

I started shooting them when I wanted to know the actual dispersion of myself and my rifle across a decent shot string.

Yes the group opens up a little so you can't tell everyone your gun is 1/4 MOA anymore though lol.

Just shot this one a few days ago.

You can always tell them the gun is, because how can you say it was the gun or you?

Back when I shot a lot of service rifle matches, I shot my 600 to 1000 yard 223 ammo at least 20 rounds after rifle had at least 66s rounds through the barrel to see if the precision and accuracy holds with that many rounds. Matches with sighters would need 88 rounds; 20 shot each at 200 yard standing, and sitting rapid. 20 shots at 300 prone rapid and another 20 at 600 yard prone, single load at a time.

I use the 300 yards NRA target reduced at 200. Target is typical. X ring is 1.9 inch

I did shoot 10 rounds to test the rifle before the Scotland championship. I shot a borrowed rifle and ammo provided by a Scottish gentleman named Charles Young.

All their matches there were belly matches from 300 to 1000. This target stayed in their clubhouse till Charles sent it to me before the plandemic.
