How is this for sample size? 140 rounds about 1 inch at 200 yards.
That's some consistency in the group size. Curious, do you know what type of fixture the barrel/receiver were mounted in?

No idea on the fixtures. Bartlein most likely supplied the test barrels
I am quite sure ANY national level bench rester could do that with his setup.
You can always tell them the gun is, because how can you say it was the gun or you?It really takes little effort to shoot a 10 shot group. I do it all the time.
It's not a scary thing with a well built rifle, a good barrel and decent fundamentals.
I started shooting them when I wanted to know the actual dispersion of myself and my rifle across a decent shot string.
Yes the group opens up a little so you can't tell everyone your gun is 1/4 MOA anymore though lol.
Just shot this one a few days ago.

Haha true. The shooter is the weak link for sure. You can always tell them the gun is, because how can you say it was the gun or you?
Just follow up "this gun is a …..MOA gun" with "as long as I do my part". That's the favorite saying around hereHaha true. The shooter is the weak link for sure.
Agreed. There is no "cold bore" shift in a properly set up rifle. On most if not all of my rifles I see no zero shift from cold bore to smoking hot bore. If you have any significant shift in zero cold to hot, something is wrong in your system.
