N565 7mm rem mag

I was curious if anyone has used this powder for 7mm rem mag. If so I would like to hear your results

I am having excellent results so far in my CA Ridgeline 7mm RM shooting 175 grain bergers with 67grains of N565. Very pleased with the accuracy and ES/SDs. I also get a bit better case fill than with RL26. Took a bull elk and a mule deer buck with this load last season.

Velocity check before hunting season:

I've shot 180VLDs as well and am getting around 2925fps with those at 66gr, also good SDs. Stuck with with 175s since they shoot so well and I have a bunch.

That's great, how long is your barrel?

it is a 26" barrel.

Vihtavuoria doesn't list N565 for 175gr bullets for the 7mm Rem Mag, but they do list it for 180gr bullets.

I ended up switching to ADG brass from Nosler and backed the charge down to 65.7g the year after my original post, IIRC. Shot that for the next couple seasons. I've since sold the rifle but that load worked very well with the 175g Bergers.

Thanks for the info.
I'm using ADG brass as well, but my barrel is 24.5" instead of 26" like yours.
Sounds like I should start around 60 grains and work up to around 65.
