It took me a long time to realize why my Pappy took me hunting and fishing with him every Saturday, every holiday, and any other time I was available. I started at 5 years old. There was always room in the truck for me. The man had unbelievable patience. I had to have my own son to figure really figure it all out. One, he loved me as only a parent or grandparent can. Two, He enjoyed seeing me have the experience far more than he enjoyed having the experience himself. Those experiences and memories last a lifetime.

Mike's 7-year-old son shot his first deer with dad's 300 WSM and the 163 Hammer HHT.
