Any luck with the 150 SBD-2's in your 27 Sherman?

This was the best group so far.

I ran out of time before hunting season got here so I went with the 160gr T-Rex.

But I will go back and play with them again this spring.

Well so far we have one mule deer down with the 27 Sherman mag. I ended up going with the maker bullets in a 160gr T-Rex because they where easier to tune. And o my gosh at 225 yards she did a back. I think I found my bullet.View attachment 502024

I don't have a true wildcat but my first 27 Cal is a 6.8 Western. I picked up a custom Fierce Rage, carbon fiber stock with Kryptek Highlander wrap and 22", 1:7 carbon fiber barrel--6.7 Lbs with optics. Man, it shoots great---I get 2950 from a 165 gr Nosler ABLR, 2844 with a 175 Sierra Tipped Game King, 1/2 MOA (as advertised using factory ammo) with both. Just started the load work-up which brings me to my next question, where are you guys all finding that RL-26, I've been looking for it for two years. I have ALL the powders that rig loves except the RL-26, which of course is supposed to be THE stuff for 165/175 Gr pills. If anyone has any for sale, I'd be happy to overpay and make the drive to your house.

The rifle shoots absolutely lights out with h1000, I haven't played with reloader 26 yet, but I just got 8 lbs. I'd like to upgrade the stock , I purchased a mcmillian you can see is way oversized on the barrel channel.
