I could never hold that position, my legs would cramp so bad I'd throw the shot into the next countyUsing the old Creedmoor shooting position. That is how it was done back in the day, and a few of us used this instead of prone. It was also used in IHMSA (pistol) for the any position category, for we would lie on our backs with our pistol/revolver barrels pressed against our lower leg.
