Anyone ever see a barrel like this?

Well, I couldn't resist, so I bought it….I am a sucker for something different and I really like this BBL finish plus, I was in the market for an engraved 700. Got it off GB from a dealer in Alabama which never responded to any of my questions. Took a chance and I am happy. Has HS stock and a custom trigger which I'm not sure what it is, enclosed a pic if anyone can help me out with the manufacturer. No markings on the barrel anywhere so I know nothing about it. Threw a target scope on it and threw some loads together just to see if bbl was shot out. Three different loads were all under 3/4".

The trigger is a Jewell. Best trigger ever made in my opinion. You can't get them new any longer, and used ones are scarce. Arnold Jewell passed away in 2022.

.300 Win Mag. Here is the kicker, has a 20" bbl ….. scared me at first but after running loads across the chronograph I'm easily getting 3k with 165,s with no pressure….

I have one similar on a Remington 700 in 308 it's heavy but shoots 168's like nobody's business

I've used that as well, but I have had better luck with Re-22 for accuracy with the 165's. If you have any, give it a try.
