I doubt if you are the only one watching this guy, The other folks watching him might be waiting for the season to start?
Wait another 2 years.
If everyone has that mindset then there will be no larger racks out thereShoot it , or the horns might be on some else's barn , and the meat in their freezer , before next season.
I'm more a meat hunter and think the antlers look fine BUT…look at that skinny little neck on this literal "young buck". Got some filling out to do yet (when after the most meat I always look at the neck….to me that says way more about how big the deer is than the antlers, antlers is just genetics, sometimes
To each his own , some enjoy eating wild game , some enjoy looking at at it , some come from large families that need the meat , some have a silver spoon , I shoot to eat the meat , that's what makes everyone different .If everyone has that mindset then there will be no larger racks out there
You are right everyone is different but when one ask about shooting a buck and they are asking because of antler size they aren't just hunting for meat especially when the antlers can't be eaten. And does are common to findTo each his own , some enjoy eating wild game , some enjoy looking at at it , some come from large families that need the meat , some have a silver spoon , I shoot to eat the meat , that's what makes everyone different .
Though I value your opinion, it isn't mine.
Ah. Didn't know that. Even as a mostly opportunistic meat hunter I'm a bit of spoiled brat in northern Saskatchewan. Never took a trophy type buck but have taken some absolutely thiiiiiiick bodied bruisers over the years haha. It's a survival advantage to be stout (and fat if nature lets them) for winter hereFolks, this a probably a mountain buck, and is a monster by that standard. Not to .mention, the Ga DNR has managed the deer population almost into oblivion in favor of the black bear.
