26 inch mueller barrel 1/7.5 twist

now that I have shot a couple hundred through the barrel my 65.2 load is closer to 3130 and very good groups. I'm seating at 2.25 bto which is a 30 thou jump

Thank you, I have some time as the hunt isn't until next year this time. Rich recommended the 6.5 Max for Africa at about 156 grain bullet. I'm looking at getting. Proof Research 6.5 Blank. You feel 1/7.5 Beats 1/8

I have put together data from the many shooters that emailed/PM'd me. Here is what I have so far but I am still asking for more data to be PM'd to me so I can continue to add to this.

Ok, so finally got my AI AXMC bolts and fire control assemblies back, and she's running great, no more pierced primers...yippeee! It looks like 80.8 grains of N570 is the ticket for my 28" CarbonSix 28 SM. That's giving me an average velocity of 3205 FPS @ 80 Deg and 6K'. My SD is staying around 7.0 and groups are sub 1/2 MOA with 0.020" jump at 100 yards. So time to take her to distance! But gotta load up another batch. I just sized 50 after 2nd firing and annealing. Can someone tell me the maximum case length, and trim to length for 28 SM?

Should I just use 300 PRC data? Hornady is showing 2.580" Max and trim length 2.565". Will this data work? I've got a huge variance due to load development from 2.575" to 2.595" after full length sizing.

I'm running the 195 EOL in the 28 SM. Sorry about that.
