Seeking advice/opinions on 300 win mag for first long range gun

I think x-bolts are where its at right now for a factory rifle. I have a medalion that is gorgeous, but I am planning on getting a long range mcmillan here shortly. Every x-bolt I have shot (7 of them) have been great shooters.
