ThanksAnother thought. I have these little plugs that Sinclair sells for checking chamber length. You may look into that. I've found more times than not my chamber is shorter or longer than "I thought"

I am guessing that the area was not machined correctly.I'm no expert looking though a bore scope but that looks like a lot
Why so much after 90 rounds
You can see a groove right at the beginning of the riffling, none of my other guns have that ring, so I'm assuming that the area between the case neck and the rifling it's not machined down as far as it should've been.I am guessing that the area was not machined correctly.
Christensen Arms Ridgeline. I'm going to call them tomorrow and share the photos with them to see what they suggest. That chamber is very rough. Is this a factory or custom rifle? With a chamber like that I would think this problem will just progress.

When I was setting up my seating depth I noticed a little bit of stuffing in that area when it was brand newWow!! That is alot of copper. However, I am anxious to see what you find underneath the copper. If a carbon ring were present this could be the reason copper was collecting there.
