Do it right the first time; use a 34MM. You could probably lap it, but why go through the trouble? 28MM is for the 1-inch tube.

What ring brand you have that shows 28 MM (1.00") height?

When in doubt, contact Arken directly for recommendation.

The 34mm diameter, .92 low rings should work fine.

Agree with Jay, here is a similar scope on a 20 moa base these rings are .97 height would prefer lower.

That's exactly what I was leading to, but I don't know what ring the OP has, so I provided the picture as a reference. Some brands might also measure height differently. Below is an Arken SH 34MM 4-16x50 with a low ring and 20 MOA rail. He might want to consider extra low rings.

Yup but he may run into an issue with the bolt handle hitting his eye piece objective with extra low. Only one way to find out!!

Need to consider bottom of turret clearance too. Never was concerned about that until I got a 30mm scope. Only 0.005" clearance top of rail to bottom of turret.

Another factor we do not know is precisely what his setup is—too many uncertainties.
