Scope rings

i looked into these a long rime ago. Maybe I should have tried them out.
So could you use the signature rings in the same manner as a 20mm or so rail to get your zero closer to the bottom of you skope adjustments to gain more distance?

Yes. You can center the scope (with centered crosshairs) for short range or use the inserts like a canted rail.

I guess Dakota just answered that.

Scope height (center of bore to centerline of scope), distance between rings, clearance if you have a long scope and sun shield, cant angle - moa of rail, etc...all tied together. Remember top of EL adjustment lowers scope to barrel bore. Bottom is up and top is down LoL

What about separate ring mounts? Not sure I'm that trusting with expensive optics..

When I started using expensive scopes I stated lapping rings. The companies say they don't need lapping. How do they know how accurately the action is machined. I have yet to see rings clean up immediately. They all need lapping.
