Scope recomendation

Many of the scopes mentioned on here are FFP and heavy. Scopes that actually fit your requests are:

Vortex Razor 3-15 LHT
NF 2.5-10
Zeiss V4 4-16 or 6-24
Zeiss V6 3-18 or 5-30
Leupy VX5 / VX6 variants
Huskemaw 3-12 or 4-16

Of these I can only vouch for the Razor, NF and V4 as far as tracking, RTZ and holding zero under mag recoil. And all 3 would meet your needs quite well, just don't tell them they are mounted on a 6.5 Manbun and you should be fine.

You could pick up a used nightforce 2.5-10x42 for around 1300, they are built like a tank. If you're looking for great glass zeiss conquest dl, they are made in Germany glass is really good for the 600-800 range.
Personally not really impressed with vortex glass, but that's my honest opinion. Leica has really good lass too.

I did the above and found a used NF for $1200. Never looked back, awesome scopes.

Check out swfa. Their 2.5-10 is very light and a lot of scope for the money.

I've used huskemaw and I really like them. Kinda hard to find around here. The razor LHT is a great lightweight scope. Clear and tough enough for hunting. Vx 5 and 6 HD's are both great. Vx6hd Better glass than zeiss v8. NF is great but not if you are counting onces

I ended up buying a Zeiss V4 4-16x44 with the zmoa t30i retical. I was at cabelas to put my hand on these. I didn't like any of the retical in the Leopold line so those were out. The Swaros were very nice and I loved how lightweight they were and with arguably the best glass they were hard to rule out ultimately because they limited my distance because lack of elevation adjustment. The Zeiss was just the best all round option and was heavy on features without adding too much weight and at a good price.
