Scalpers are out of control

Scalping = FREE MARKET= CAPITALISM

And capitalism sucks too IMO. When you see professional athletes get paid millions of dollars playing a game there's a problem with the system. Or, people making movies for the same amount. After about 3-4 months the supplies will come back to normal. The greed of people is gross in today's society. I almost feel like the pandemic didn't "cleanse" enough of these scumbag people.

They are simply getting paid according to the value they create. We as a society determine that value. If someone makes a movie and a gazillion people pay to watch it, then they get paid a lot. If someone creates a new product and a gazillion people buy it, then that person will make a lot of money. Just bc you don't value it the same way the market does doesn't mean it's dumb or that it sucks.

This has been the case going way back in time and is not a new thing. It happened in Roman times, during the industrial revolution, and now (and didjt ever stop being the case, unless you are talking about some form of communal wealth system (communism, socialism, etc).

Or maybe it's the people paying these prices that make them so bold. Been watching powder on Gunbroker to see what the scalpers are selling for. Just saw 3-1lb bottles of H1000 sell for $515 plus shipping!
cant believe what this guy is asking for an 8lber, plus $50 shipping, PLUS 3.5% PayPal/credit card fee.

The hoarders are out of control again. Ok rant now over lol.View attachment 220001View attachment 220002View attachment 220003View attachment 220006

Even those systems have rich to run everything, the middle to pay for everything and the poor at the bottom trying to fight their way up.

I can relate to that.
