This thread is like 4 years old, let see Savage found that rifle faulty, but failed to replace its barrel, instead they send me LRPV in different caliber with tons of issues... So I had to fix everything myself and I'm happy with what I did.

Sorry to hear that Savage didn't make it right for you.

I only got time to take a quick look of the crown, it is not ideal, definitely not matching the price tag of the gun.
