Ruger Gunsite Scout:

Looking for feed back on the Ruger Gunsite Scout model, any post purchase surprises?

Only the typical Ruger integral scope base issues. Ruger doesn't make rings that properly align up. I replaced the scout base with one that extends back over the receiver so I could use a normal scope.

It's become one my favorite rifles. I've kept it as a scout rifle, with the factory sights and a Leupold scout scope. So light and easy to hike with, and just plain fun to shoot.
