Rifle Stock Painting

Degrease, primer, paint, be done.

If it chips, rubs off, oh well...you have more krylon.

Whether you use sponges for camo or black webbing, it all looks good if you take your time and prep correctly.
 
Tried method of wrapping in twine that I posted above then sponged some color. I think it's ok. Little top clear matte and done I think. Might do my daughter's with her. Plain black plastic stocks, hard to not be an improvement.

next time try the textured spray paint instead of the twine!
 
Stencils can add some nice variation too. I got a honeycomb stencil off ETSY for a few bucks which I just hold over the base layers to give contrast and fade. This was just done with three colors of Krylon and then a Rustoleum matte clear coat. Took a landscape picture I had from hunting and just tried to replicate the colors that I saw.
