Much simpler setting them up than the standard optical chrony's. I was about to pull the trigger on a Magneto Speed but I like being able to accuracy shooting while chrono checking. think I'll be getting one of these, maybe 2 for a down range sensor for BC testing.I found the German made accoustic chronograph on ebay, and the info is in english. but u still have to go down range to set it up been there done that.

So if anyone purchases one, how about letting us know how they work. Consistency of readings, ease of use, reliability of readings, velocities reported compared to other chronographs. These will be much better for those that want to record distant bullet velocity because of the much larger receiving/trigger area, compared to light sensing chronographs that require the bullet be placed directly over the skyscreens.
