paint worn off of reloading die

I am reaching out to see if anyone has any ideas. I have a Redding Competition Seater die that the paint is wearing off the lines and numbers. It makes it very hard to see. I have tried taking some white artist paint and painting over the whole area and then wiping the excess off before it dries. Just hoping that the white paint will remain in the recessed lines. I've had no luck. The markings are way to fine to try and paint them in by hand. So, does anyone have any ideas or suggestions.

I have had the most success with burnishing the excess off with 0000 sw

So you paint the whole area and then let it dry. After it is dry, you burnish it like you suggested.

look up how the guys are color filling their ar and pistol markings and apply

Contact Redding, they might do it for you for free or replace it. You'll never what they might do for you unless you try.

I called them about an issue I had with a die that I didn't buy new, but secondhand.
They cheerfully sent me a new one and refused to take any payment.
You can't beat that from any of the reloading manufacturers.

I had a Redding die inducing .010 neck runout. After a lengthly phone conversation I was told to send it back. Didnt get a replacement. I had to call them back and ask what they did. Was told they reworked the neck. I still induced .002 runout. Cant hurt to ask though
