Resizing question

Stuck case is not enough or wrong stuff. One shot spray on a case needing a lot of resizing is a problem. For that I use one shot wax and it's smooth as butter.

For the inside of the neck some people use dry neck lube but it's only needed in my opinion after wet tumbling where the inside is spotless of carbon and using a mandrel expander. I use one shot spray at 45 angle and lightly hit the neck inside and out for a slight lube. Works very well for me and create very consistent seating.

I been using the RCBS sizing lube on a pad since the 70s and never looked back. Fast easy no fuss. Broz uses the same setup so I guess it must work. IMHO

I switch to Imperial sizing wax and Imperial Dry Neck Lube. I used RCBS lube on a pad for years with a quick turn on the pad with the neck pointed down to lube the inside of the neck for years. Just had to be careful on how much lube you got on the case, and inside the neck. If I noted that it was getting hard to pull the case back. I would add a little more lube on the inside of the neck. Have I stuck case? YES. That life. I have changed or changing to Redding Bushing Dies with out an expander. Some far I haven't needed a mandrel to expand the neck to what I want. That may change. I haven't used the bushing dies enough to fully know how that's going work out. I do have a lot of bushing to adjust to size I want. The only thing they are between $26.00 and $33.00 each for the bushing for the type I purchases. The other thing is getting the different parts need to do the work. It seem to me everything is on backorder. Or it also looks like everybody is switching over to bushing dies. RCBS now as bushing dies. Kind of fun to watch the changes ongoing in reloading.

As others have stated stuck case is a function of outside case friction. One shot will do the trick, but if you prefer to keep your current method, you can use a q-tip with some of your current case lube inside the neck. Just a light coating is all that is required. While the inside of the neck will not stick a case, I have experienced stretching the case neck on the down stroke of the sizing operation when no lube is present.
No one has mentioned annealing! I think this is s good practice at least every other case reload and believe it will uniform your neck tension provided inside necks are lubed. I use the One Shot spray method either in s zip lock bag or case holder just fwiw.

Using almost any sizing material correctly will eliminate the case getting stuck in the die. Probably 99% of the times, it is the outside of the case not being sized that causes the problem.
I understand that Imperial wax is the best option for sizing brass. As an older shooter, I grew up with the RCBS sizing goo that I found to always give good results. I still use it today, but I advise beginners to consider the Imperial wax.
You questioned about lubing the inside of the neck. My recommendation is to always lube the inside of the neck although it introduces another task (not problem). just like the lube on the outside of the case, the lube on the inside of the neck needs to be removed. Otherwise, reloading powder will stick to the lube when the case is being reloaded.
Just another FYI, Lyman, RCBS, Dillon, and others make great mechanical brass cleaners.

Yes and yes, Use imperial with the index finger and thumb as the applicators then wipe off excess from your fingers on neck rim at 0, 120 and 240 degrees so as to go inside case mouth ...does not take much but needs to be all over the case outside especially near the base and to the belt on mags. Clean out with a cotton q-tip before charging powder. This for full length resizing for each case. Dents on shoulder = to much lube.

Been using Redding graphite for a loonnnnnng time now and have never had a problem and does not affect bullet accuracy one bit even for the bench gun's. Also use Redding imperal wax just as long if not longer.

I use the lanolin/ alcohol mixture and spray it at an angle from above to get some in the necks. I tumble after sizing to remove lube. I haven't stuck a case with the lanolin yet.

Something I wish I knew when I first started reloading was if you get dents from to much lube its perfectly fine to still use that case. I probably tossed 15-20 cases at the beginning.

Never stuck one and only use Imperial Sizing wax, but very careful with checking the brass first and clean ultrasonically, and brush the necks first with electric drill with a brass brush. I do tumble in walnut sometimes after I've done the other steps first
never heard of anyone sticking a case with imperial...the best

I started using Hornady One Shot lube and spay a block of cases fron all 4 sides and let them sit for at least 4 hrs. no more sticking neck expanders! I also got carbide neck expanders for some of my dies!
