Myself, I'm getting writers cramp and a sticky tongue from licking envelopes. I bought a 45 buck roll of stamps thats 3/4 gone.
At least the stamps are self stick.
Typically people only stay focused for a short time, especially if not prodded by the media or some salvo from the administration. The attention span of an average adult is about as long as a horse I've found out. About 30 seconds average, until it directly effects them or they get their pants yanked down and then they scream bloody murder.
I have lots of first hand experience in dealing with adults with short attention spans at my job. I just yank their chains real hard and let 'em scream.
I'm kind of like Obama but in an employer/employee sense. I hold all the cards and until they realize that, we play games but they always loose.
Like Obama, I lead them down the path with guidelines and suggested compliance and if they don't comply they get warned. Next time, they get a vacation without pay and the next time, they get a permanent vacation and no unemployment because we deny the claim and have the documentation to back it up.
I'm a microcosm of Obama in a way.
Doing this stuff day in and day out, I have a pretty good idea of the game Obama is playing and I'm a terrible player. So is Obama.
People are amazing.... Amazingly stupid for the most part. Not everyone, but a pretty good percentage. The we have the ones that are smart and cunning and play stupid. Those are the generational entitlement people.
The average stupid ones can't figure out the game......
Don't worry, I never talk about this stuff except on here and behind closed doors with management. We kind of scoff at the stupidity but we all have to 'play the game'. I'm good at it. besides, no one on this site works for my company at least I don't think they do and if they did, I'd deny everything.
Thats why I call this a chess game. It's Chess for Obama like it's chess for me. The end game is the same. Compliance or no job or in Obama's case, no firearms, but he has an ulterior motive, Socialism.
My ulterior motive is I want productive employees who respect company equipment and give the company an honest days work for an honest wage. see, I'm a Capitalist, not a Socialist.
A bit different but in many ways, the same.
I've had a long day with idiots and I'm in a philosophical mood.
