I would like to learn how these new Rem actions and bottom metal are different from the old Rem.
The action screw spacing seems to be the same.
Triggers are the same I think.
The new magazine boxes are evidently longer. Are they wider ? So the bottom metal must be different ?
New inletting is needed on the older stocks, front side of magwell, and rear side toward the trigger.
So the machining on the bottom side of the receiver must be different.
Is it too early to inquire if anyone has compared new and old side-by-side ?
