Based off of further input, I am not going with the Magpul Hunter. I am going with the Grayboe Trekker stock. A member sent me a pic of his rifle and it is exactly what I wanted.
I have 4 months on the barrel build, so I will be saving and getting items in that time. Now, most of my scopes are Vortex Diamondbacks and Burris Fullfields, but those will not do this justice. So, I am going to be scope shopping.

So far it works in my rifle and my daughter's. I'm using the 150gr ablrs in mine though.
I feel like this was a community rifle build. I started with what I thought I was doing and went into a completely different direction, except for the caliber. I appreciate everyone's input.

Okay, talked into a Trigger Tech vs. the Timney. Got folks hitting me up with great recommendations and the reasons why, aside from "I like mine better."
Since we are on this, suggestions on scope selection? This will be an out to 500 yard rifle and I am blind as a bat in my old age. Prefer MOA adjustments. Thinking at least and 18 power.

Real good buys on the Burris lately at CameralandNY. Call and talk to Doug. @gr8fuldoug as he just got a bunch of very nice scopes in at good prices. Be sure and get a ZeroStop if you're going to be dialing the turret.

Does anyone know if Greyboe has a recoil limit on their stocks? I just bought one and was shocked at how light it felt. Now I'm worried that the 300 LIMP is going to fold it up like a toothpick.
Athlon Helos and Argos Series are solid. Not fancy and IMO a bit clunky but good in the price range. I have four of their cost-efficient models and they all track well:

Athlon seems to be very, very popular for the features offered at the price point. Lots of very positive reviews on them, several on here including a video over tracking.

I've not had any issue with 3-4 Grayboes I have. 300PRC, 300WSM, 308 and 7-08. Maybe call them!I like that stock
