Do you like the intellidropper better than the regular sized chargemaster? The Gen6 was, a great dispenser, until after a year and half of constant use, it would throw heavy, no matter how many times it was calibrated! It didn't make sense, to set it to 'underthrow", because that's not the intended purpose. Got an Intellidropper, and it 100% functional, fast & accurate.
I never tried one and I'm not an RCBS fan TBH. The Frankford Arsenal Intellidropper is as advertised. No drift, light wind currents don't seem to have much, if any affect (I do my loading in a very large ventilated auto shop). I keep thinking I want another to speed up production, with 223/556 and various hig round count Creedmoor's, but it's that fast! Only time it's "slow" is when using it for 28 Nosler & 300 RUM, respectively 80 to 100 grains of powder.Do you like the intellidropper better than the regular sized chargemaster?
Just out of curiosity has anyone tested a throwers scale vs just a scale to determine how accurate and precise they really are? My question I guess is if you used a thrower set to say 59.5 gr, would you get 59.5gr 50/50 times? I've never tried this because I only have the hornady to measure powder but it would be a cool experiment to see it even to the 59.50 gr.
Mine is underthrowing, I can set it to get close if I add a grain or so, but I have been weighing it on a second scale to double check it so it kind of defeats the purpose of having it.The Gen6 was, a great dispenser, until after a year and half of constant use, it would throw heavy, no matter how many times it was calibrated!
