A certain truth to that, but the good thing is that we get to decide. He's given us the roadmap. It's our choice to follow.

The OP wanted to know how much weight was needed to notice a reduction of recoil. That's only one variable in reducing felt recoil. There was no harm in suggesting other ways to reduce felt recoil. It's really up to the OP to clarify on what he or she feels is helpful in determining their objective.
