I forgot to add that with use the barrel gets slicker with every shot and embeds itself in the barrel and makes it way easier to clean.
I have Weatherby Vanguard/Howa in 300 weatherby mag and the barrel has always been very hard to clean.For a string of 4 or 5 shots I would expect to clean about 4 hours.
I put Wipe Out Accelerator first and then Wipe Out foam and let sit for 2 hours and scrub like crazy and then repeat a second time.I used Final Finish also by David Tubbs and it smoothed the barrel out and that helped but cut time to about 2 hours but after using HBN coated barrel and bullets I can shoot 10 to 20 and clean up is only about 20 minutes now.I personally feel the HBN had a huge part to make the super rough barrel smoother and clean way faster and I don't believe leaving copper in the barrel is ok!
