Problem with new factory 7prc ammo

Unfortunately, never an easy button for precision brother...

Precision was going to come by loading my own. Easy button was to get out and shoot then use the brass for load development. Need to get used to the XP before I try finding a load.

I just checked the boxes of eld-x I have.. noticed some of the "primer scratches" but that appears to be the worst of it..
had a friend check his 5 boxes and he said the same...

Also checked some more from Lot 3224041, they were all seated correctly as well.

All of them were the 175 ELDX ammo.

This is the same lot as mine 3224041 with the raised ridge. I posted wrong lot number in my earlier post.

Interesting, you would think they would have talked about this on one of their pod casts. Or put something about it on the ammo box.

Really correct shell holder? I've actually resized the brass twice and no issues maybe some are bigger

That's good I had 300 prc roll and get stuck then I went to lapua and never had an issue again.

Ha that's one hell on an excuse to cover up a huge mistake on their part and not have to do a recall. I bet we won't see the "ring" in future ammo. Somebody that has a rifle built with this ammo should load it to the max and see how many loads it'll take before primer pockets give out like hornady brass is famous for.
