Problem with new factory 7prc ammo

Hornady just sent me a return shipping label. They aren't really saying much. Basically ship it to us and we'll take a look.
I'll ship it out tomorrow, see how long it takes for them to do something about it. At this point I'm not real optimistic after seeing how much ammo has "slipped" through. I think I'm just going to put the 7 prc on the back burner and go with the good ol 7 mag.

That really sucks. Wish hornady would take advice from there customers. I have a love hate relationship with them. They should just mail out replacement ammo to people. Or get the brass made to sale

Something like this is to be expected with Hornady from my and quite a few others past experience. Not sure why anyone would be surprised. When buying Hornady I expect lower quality. Still works, but not as well as others.

Well got my return shipping label bye bye 3 boxes of ammo. They did say they have no concern if the cases can be reloaded they only car how it functions once ie being factory ammo, makes me wonder what the difference is between their brass they sell as a component and in factory. If they don't care how the factory ammo is then resized and loaded. Come on end of quarter one.

Hmmmm....... Good enough for match ammo, then not good enough for reloading, then don't care if they are good enough to reload...but plan to sell brass to reload...

Everyone needs to start emailing peterson alpha lapua to make 7 prc. I did see on precision reloading they had adg brass for 7 prc just not in stock. Only thing I worry about with the thicker brass is clickers

I might be a Lone Ranger here, but I'm not ready to throw the baby out with the bath water, will wait and see what they say. All of my previous 7mm PRC ammo didn't have this issue. And none of the 6.5 PRC ammo I've bought over the past year has had it either.

I called Hornady yesterday. The guy I spoke with acted like he had not heard anything about this yet. I emailed them pictures as they requested.
I will report back when I hear from them again.

They want me to mail the boxes of ammo back to them. I shot one box so I know there going to tell me is should mess with shooting them one time. But I bought them for the brass too to reload they won't care i don't think

I have an email from them stating they have no concern about if they can be reloaded or not as it's factory ammo not a component
