I changed from CCI to another brand in my 250 and my numbers dropped to single digit and phenomenal groups. Made a believer out of me
Agreed. I do the primer changes for ES/SD as well if the load is good but SD#s are higher than I like. I don`t know if it is the current lot of Fed 215s I have or what, but I have been able to cut #s nearly in half by switching to CCI 250s lately. My .02To me, primers are a factor in Sd mostly….I like Winchester. I think reworking up the load with that primer or maybe the BR4 will get you that next improvement.
Not to hijack this thread but I know that was a problem way back in 2017-2018. Winchester paid me for three bricks I had and they covered shipping. I haven't heard of the problem since then.Won't use Winchester primers since they burned holes in my bolt face.

I did too.The new ones fit much tighter than the problem ones.Zero issues with the new ones.Not to hijack this thread but I know that was a problem way back in 2017-2018. Winchester paid me for three bricks I had and they covered shipping. I haven't heard of the problem since then.
