Have you had your second cup of coffee yet? What people pay is NOT any of our business. If you think the price is too high keep your money in your pocket!!
Then MYOB!!

That's not the point in questionThis country runs on free enterprise! You want your investments making money don't you?
Look at gas prices and every thing you buy. No one is making you pay today's prices
I try that Thursday thing everyday. Can't say it's a successful mission most days but it is many days. Welcome to the "average" group. I've been here most of my life and I'm pretty happy right where I'm at.Thursdays are my chill day, and I try really hard not to waste any oxygen to mess it up. I try not to worry about things "I" do not have control over. My ignore thread/list, however, is growing. But meh ... I am just an average hunter.
On a serious note, I will always try to help a Brother/Sister in need the best I can (Golden Rule rocks), even if they just need someone to talk to ... sometimes, it really is as simple as that. BTW, I love those side notes/PMs ... you guys know who you are.
Cheers!
Ed
You are absolutely correct, most of the folks gouging average 40 posts over 10 years or they are brand new, but what you said about it happening here is dishearteningGouging is total BS. And it just bothers me to see it here. Gouging is happening on a commercial basis and that's what makes it really bad. It's no secret that the same people repeatedly obtain items that are hard for us to find and then sell them at exorbitant prices. Gouging ammo and reloading components has literally become a business that hurts us all.
IMO (and that's just one guy) there should be parameters set that strongly discourage gouging on this site. Most of those who do this have low post counts and aren't active members IMO. Classified ads could be limited too. Maybe after a few casual sales you should pay Len a fee to support the site operations. Some people sell here to avoid Gunbroker fees.
One thing I did notice, you rarely see a regular LRH posting member taking advantage of another member.
That's just my 2 cents and it's probably worth what you paid.
Lol, who exactly is the "Problem" here, buyers or sellers?Bottom line, if you want things to get better don't be part of the problem.
I have been advocating for a long time that the rules to access the Classifieds for selling needs to be more stringent for the new folks coming aboard. Participation in discussions and sharing knowledge should be the primary reason for joining the forum. So, raise that number of post significantly before a person can SELL. Sorry, just ramblingYep. Cost of a membership should be much higher to those that want to line their pockets with profits from other members. Especially when they ONLY sell here and aren't here for actual forum discussion.
