Preferred scope for a moderate range, LW hunting rifle

I'll second the notion of saving a bit more, but for another Nightforce. My elk, sheep, deer, and light weight marmot rifle weighs in at just about 8 lbs with a NF 2.5-10. You already know about the glass and the accurate and repeatable turrets. I also have the NP-2 reticle in mine.
This outfit has taken many marmots between 5 and 600 yards, and shot close to half-MOA at 840 yards.
If you really want to do it right, get one of Darrell Hollands Schmidt Bender Klassic scopes with his ART reticle. Go look at it, just for fun.

For under a grand Vortex is a good option. I have huskmaw that I love and some Vortex HS 4-16 LR Dead hold BDC (MOA) that work well too. I have set these up on my 270 and some friends 308's and 300wm. They are good. I just sold a couple that I had left over. If you need a price on one let me know. I'm a dealer.
