Portable Shooting Bench

really like the shooting bench, thanks for posting, gonna make one this winter. should be good for shooting my crossbow off the porch too! One question? The barrel notches, what are they for?

Sorry I lost track of my original post. To answer your question, the notches are for safely leaning a rifle/gun and not have it slide unsafely to the side.
