We have several Shooting Chairs.
I like my little carry Chair for Chuck Hunting. Can move around with it in the Hay fields of NE PA.
Posted a video in Post #8 for the RASS System.
We may be putting it up for sale. I don't know with my age and medical condition if I will get back out PD hunting in SD/ND anymore. Our RASS is like new and also has the Umbrella Shade.

Yeah, I posted because that is the model OP was looking for. Myself it wouldn't work.After looking at the pics & maybe it's the guy in the pics, i don't know, but it doesn't appear that you can support the butt end of the gun? Is it just meor does anyone else see that?

I bought this swivel shooting bench at Cabela's about ten years ago. Since then I've modified it several times, You can see I added tires and a handle to pull it around. Put a lighter colored cover on it to eliminate the heat produced by the black vinyl cover. I also mounted an extension to accommodate longer guns. It's lightweight and pulls quite easily. Recently, I used it in a large prairie dog town, and pulled it about one and one half miles. By the way, I'm 73 years old. One suggestion, use tires that don't have tubes in them(foam filled). Cactus can ruin a good hunt. Hope this helps.

No torquing of the tripod head/legs when shouldering for the shot?
I shoot off bags for prarie dogs. It could be another 10" wider and 12" longer, but it works awesome for quick set up and take down to move to another area
steady enough for 1000 yd shooting?

Magedon, if you ever get into the Driftwood area you could stop by our camp and try several different tripod systems as well as several benches, including the rest we use when hunting.
My oldest son now lives at the camp full time.
I guarantee you would leave there well educated on the different types of shooting systems.

A buddy of mine took a DeWalt miter saw bench, the three-foot heavy-duty model, they're around $100, cut a 3/4" piece of plywood for a right-hand shooter, secured it to the bench and he shoots well past 1000 yards with it. Light, mobile, folds flat for transport and storage. I've about wore out my super heavy, heavy-duty bench made twenty plus years ago, and I'm getting ready to copy his, but mine will be for a left-hand shooter.
