Portable shooting bench recommendations

As far as the seat we use a three legged drummer stool. Adjustable height and stable with three legs on uneven ground.

I like a six gallon bucket with a padded swivel seat.
It can also hold my rabbit ear bag, box of ammo, and lazer rangefinder. Gloves and other small things as well.

Yes I have. I have a friend that has one. I don't find it to be very stable but that may be because he keeps it on concrete. I thought at the time that it needed more of a base or footprint.

I use a Jawhorse with a 3' round plywood top with a piece of 3x4 screwed to the bottom it clamp it in the jaws. Have used it out to 1300 yards. Heavy.

I saw this on another forum. They said it was made from solid granite. I don't recall the weight, but I think they said it was around 1200 lbs. Not very portable however.

We all seem to be going to all extremes here. If it isn't light, compact and store easily it just won't get used.

After looking at the pics & maybe it's the guy in the pics, i don't know, but it doesn't appear that you can support the butt end of the gun? Is it just me or does anyone else see that?
