New to Mandrel use

I just decided to start using mandrels in my reloading.
I called 21st century innovation and purchased their products.
In my conversation, they encouraged the use of their dry neck lube when using the mandrel, which I purchased.
Yesterday, I resized brass, using One Shot as the lubricant. I then used the mandrel. As the case mouths were already lubed, I did not feel the need to use the dry lube.
All seemed to go well, but I wanted to check here to see if I was making a mistake by relying on the residual one shot rather than the dry lube. I did purchase the black nitride mandrels, which are supposedly more slick.
Any thoughts?

I use One Shot to lube my necks. I spray it on a plastic brush and brush the neck one time and run the mandrel through. It also helps prevent cold welding bullet to necks.

I think you're good to go I use mandrels this way all the time.

I use graphite in the necks. Be careful that you don't load powder right after the one shot because it can cake the powder if it's not all dry, especially any that made it to the bottom of the case, ask me how I know . Graphite also helps with seating the bullets especially with new brass

For mandrel use I've always used imperial sizing wax. Granted I'm expanding up .020 so the wax helps a ton. And as said above, clean all lube (esp one shot) after sizing with it. I usually ultrasonic clean before depriming, then again after to get the lube off. It makes life a lot easier.

Same at the others, I use one shot for lube. I've been doing it for many years. The potential issue is ball powder etc can stick to the neck a little bit. Just a cottonswab in and out and done if needed. On larger kernel powder I've not had an issue. I have graphite powder too and don't use it anymore. I spray one shot at an angle to lube the inside and outside of the neck. I use imperial on the body of most cases. Works fine for me, I'm sure someone would say it's stupid...... LOL

I've lubed the case necks inside with Imperial wax using inexpensive Q-Tip-type swabs. I lube the outside with One shot rubbing the cases and letting them dry. It's worked for me but choose any method that gives you the results you're looking for.

My latest procedure is to spray/roll Frankford Arsenal lube being careful to shield the shoulder neck. I size without the expander ball. Then I use 21st Century Mandrel after dipping case mouth in dry graphite. It leaves some graphite residue during bullet seating.
