Well I got my new lightweight 22" 300 WSM rifle finished up. I got the barrel broke in and loads roughly finalized but wanted to wait until the new Silencerco Scythe-TI suppressor came in before I finalized the loads. I got the suppressor in Friday and threw the 3 port anchor brake on it to reduce recoil and muzzle rise as much as possible. It only added .3 oz over the single port brake that came w it. Didn't get a chance to test during the day due to massive mirage. After we came back from dinner it was dark out and I decided to park the truck in front of the target and shine the lights on it. It was cool out, no mirage and zero wind. I wanted to test some seating depths. Finished seating depth testing when .041 off the lands shot back to back .1" groups at 100. 3 thou on either side the groups opened up to the upper .2s. Good window. During seating depth testing I had 19 shots over the chrono that had a SD of 3 fps and ES of like 15 fps. I decided to call it a night and wait til morning and verify at 890 yds. Well morning came and was calm but a decent amount of mirage already. I had my info plugged into the Kestrel. 215 berger at 2665 fps which was only 20 fps slower than where my 24" 300 wsm tuned with the 215 berger. Sent 3 shots down to 890 yds which ended up measuring 2.086"/.223 moa and had 1.25"/.134 moa vertical.
Rifle has the following components.
Defiance ANTIX long action w nitride
Manners Pro Hunter
Benchmark 22" 9.0 tw sendero light
Triggertech Diamond set at 1.5 lbs
Hawkins Precision hunter bottom metal and mag w spacer in it
Silencerco Scythe-TI suppressor
Nightforce 4-20 ATACR bedded into 6 screw NF rings

Im able to watch the vapor trail go to the target. Reticle hardly leaves the 890 yd target during recoil. Spotting hits is a breeze.
Ill have more of these instock in the not so distant future.
