The Regular .270 Win. pushes, a 140 grain Bullet,.. OVER,.. 2,800FPS !
The .270 Wby and .270 WSM's, OVER,.. 3,100 FPS easily ( Power equal, to some, 7mm Magnum, loads ) Get a Ballistic's Guy or, Reloading EXPERT with, a LOADING Book,.. to do your, Chart's !
This is STILL NOT, a "good representation", of Elk Cartridge's, "here",.. sorry !
A reloading book is about 400pages, I don't have even 1 page to work with, I get 10 options.

Besides, anything .270 is for cross-dressers and flamers, might as well drop it on the ground and start swinging your purse... ;)

Let me recommend a book: "How to win friends and influence people"

@ Golovkin,..
You could have LUMPED, the .264 Mag. w/ 140's, the .270 WSM and Wby's w/140's, Hot loaded,.270 Win's, the .280's and 7mm Rem Mag w/ 140's ALL together,..AS they are ALL, pretty "CLOSE" and NOTHING hit with them, could tell, the "difference" !
